One day Jay wrote a snippet about this crazy bastard named Topper, and sent me the file; I wrote Grace's parts. “Rolling Steel” was published in Clarkesworld in 2009, reprinted in their "Year 3" volume, then again in "The Mammoth Book of Dieselpunk" anthology in 2015. Shaun Farrell and Mur Lafferty read the story for Clarkesworld’s podcast.
